Pippin and SageELF products can be used to increase RNA library diversity and to identify rare splice variants.
Pippin Prep features a cassette designed for customers generating RNA-seq libraries with directional ScriptSeq Complete™ kits from Epicentre, an Illumina company. These cassettes have smaller elution wells to support the volumes (25 µl) used in the ScriptSeq Complete protocols. Tests using Pippin Prep purification show 10-15% increase in library diversity compared to the bead-based method typically used for purification.
SageELF is useful for detecting rare splice variants, an increasingly important field of genomic interrogation.
