Description
The Control DNA digests that are used to test and QC Pippin systems are available for purchase. It is useful to test, refine, and troubleshoot Pippin Prep size fractionation protocols. It can also be used to check system performance.
Pippin cassettes and instruments are tested using restriction digests of genomic DNA from E. coli. Digestion protocols were developed to evenly span the fractionation range of the cassette with DNA fragments, without any significant peaks or discontinuities.

Specifications
The DNA is premixed with loading solution and ready for use directly from the tube. The DNA amount per load is 5 ug, and 40 ul of control DNA should be used per lane. Each tube contains sufficient volume for 16 sample loads.
